BH Correspondent, New Delhi: With the deadline for BS VI compliant vehicles approaching soon, motorcycle players like Yamaha Motorcycles have taken to the idea with a new brand campaign “The Call of the Blue”. Under this tagline, the FZ models, which is one of the Japanese brand’s bestsellers in the country are among the early bird models that have been earmarked to hit roads soon with BS VI specifications.
Yamaha have released the first details of the FZ 25 and has plans to launch its FZS 25 version later. The FZ 25 will be powered by a 249-cc air-cooled, SOHC, 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine producing 20.9hp at 8,000 rpm and offering maximum torque of 20.1 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The bike weighs 152kg and will come with dual channel ABS.
New features introduced include multi-function LCD instrumentation, LED Day Time Running Lamp (DRL), LED headlamps and attractive colour schemes. The BS VI FZ 25 will be available for customers from April 2020. The details of the all new FZS 25 will be announced later.
