BH CORRESPONDENT, Kolkata: West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday announced that remaining papers of Class 12 or higher secondary examinations will be conducted in June. She has also announced that students of Class XI will be promoted to their next class and semesters respectively.
The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) began on March 13. The exams were postponed till April 15 as a precautionary measure due to coronavirus pandemic.
Earlier, Mamata had announced that schools and colleges will remain shut till June 10.
