BH CORRESPONDENT, New Delhi: US President Donald Trump’s failed attempt to pronounce Hindi words during his speech at Motera stadium in Ahmedabad left netizens in splits even though the American leader gathered some praise over the reference to Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
From signing an autograph in bad handwriting to calling Swami Vivekananda as “Vivekamana”, and mentioning “The Vestas” (The Vedas), Twitteratis noted down everything and paid tribute to Trump with some bone tickling memes.
On the other side, a chunk of social media users praised him for recalling the “genius” of Bollywood industry and mentioning two all-time favourites, Sholay (again, he mispronounced it as “Shojay” but here netizens didn’t mind. After all its Sholay) and DDLJ.
Here are some of the best memes which will make your day

A+ grade to Trump speech writers. Haven’t heard the speech hut what I am seeing on twitter suggests good homework on today’s India. On pronunciation, Trump struggles with English words, like ‘anonymous’. Swami Vivekananda more than a mouthful for him.

Donald Trump received a red-carpet welcome in India on Monday, addressing a huge rally at the world’s biggest cricket stadium on his first official visit to India that is big on photo opportunities but likely short on substance.
“America loves India. America respects India, and America will always be faithful and loyal friends to the Indian people,” Mr Trump told the ecstatic crowd.
