BH CORRESPONDENT, Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi had encouraged Indians to make their own masks at home with whatever material they could find as precautionary measures are of utmost priority. This thought seems to have resonated well in the film fraternity as actors Arjun Bijlani and Hina Khan shared tips on making home-made masks. Now, Parineeta star Vidya Balan has joined the bandwagon.
She uploaded a tutorial on her social media handles wherein she demonstrates easy methods to make masks out of any cloth like saree, dupatta, scarf with rubber bands. She captioned the video, “#ApnaDeshApnaMask #HomeMadeMasks @apnamask @startupsvscovid P.S:Ek purani saree ko kar bahut saare masks ban sakte hain. (P.S: You can make a lot of masks from an old saree)”.

Then she breaks down the process into easy steps which others can follow to have their own home-made masks. “Masks play an important part in preventing corona. However, the problem is that there is a shortage of masks not only in our country but across the world. But there is an easy solution to this. Just as our Prime Minister has said that we can make masks at home. Take any piece of cloth, it can be a dupatta, scarf, old saree anything. And you will need two bands. Rubber bands will also do,” she said in the video.
