AGENCIES, Los Angeles: Pop superstar Taylor Swift has now become a guardian angel for some of her fans who are worst hit by the financial crisis caused by the novel coronavirus. She gifted a few thousand dollars to some of her fans who took to social media to express that their livelihood was shattered because of the ongoing crisis.
Associated Press reports that freelance music photographer and graphic designer Holly Turner received $3,000 from Taylor along with the message, “Holly, you’ve always been there for me. I want to be there for you right now. I hope this helps. Love, Taylor.” Another fan who received the same amount said in gratitude, “This beautiful magical unbelievable human. I don’t even know where to begin.”
Singer Ariana Grande has also donated amounts of $500-$1,000 to more than 20 fans, reports Fox News, as well as covering the entirely monthly salary of one fan.
Another young popstar Shawn Mendes donated $1,75,000 to the SickKids Foundation in Toronto, Canada to help combat the coronavirus crisis with emergency medical resources. In response, the foundation tweeted about how this is a big help for them.

Last but not the least, actor Angelina Jolie donated $1 million to No Kid Hungry organisation so that underprivileged children do not starve during the crisis. Kylie Jenner donated the same amount to hospitals in Los Angeles to buy required equipment to fight the crisis.
