BH CORRESPONDENT, Mumbai: Self-quarantine seems to be the new buzzword doing the rounds for India’s netizens. Going by the increasing number of positive coronavirus cases in the country, one can only hope that reality reflects it as well.
Shekhar Kapur and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi’s daughter Kaveri Kapur has returned safely from USA and is self-quarantined at home now. The 19-year-old student of the Berklee College of Music in Boston was stuck there for 6 days, unable to catch a flight home.
When her daughter finally did arrive, Suchitra was not able to hold back her relief and delight and took to share the good news with her fans on Instagram. Her post read, “And my bacha @kaverikapur is back home from Boston a few mins ago. She will now self quarentine for 14 days A big Thank u to our Govt, our doctors, medical airport airline & security personnel & each & everyone who has been working round the clock to keep India safe #StaySafeStayHome #indiafightscorona”.
Angrezi Medium actor Irrfan Khan’s son Babil went through a similar fate as he was stuck in London where he pursues higher studies, due to the ongoing virus crisis.
Babil touched down in India on Thursday, according to Times of India. He was received at the airport by his mother Sutapa Sikdar who took to social media to express her gratitude, “Thanks to everyone for the prayers and wishes. Babil is back to India safely. Gratitude to all of you who offered help. The flight was late over an hour.”
