BH CORRESPONDENT, Mumbai: Legendary singer Asha Bhosle recently revealed that she considered Rishi Kapoor to be her fourth child and that she really loved him a lot and the loss is unbearable for her.
In an interview to a leading daily, Asha said, “I broke down when I heard the news of his death. I felt like I had three children, out of which the fourth child was him who has now gone away. I haven’t spoken to any of his family members yet, as I don’t feel that it would be right to call them at this time. But they know I loved him very much.”
She also heaped praises on him and said there wasn’t anyone like Rishi in the entire film industry. She said, “There are many big artistes in the industry but none are like Rishi. He could dance well, was a great romantic hero and played tragic parts very well, too.”
Deepest condolences to the Kapoor family. Sorry I can’t be with you in your hour of grief, although Chintu was always always by my side through thick & thin. This picture of our last meeting is how I shall remember him. He remains eternal & special @chintskap pic.twitter.com/mMi4yNvBrl

She however rues that she won’t be able to cook his favourite dishes for him again, the big foodie that he was. “I don’t think I will ever be able to cook his favourite dishes. The dishes that he liked, I will neither make them anymore nor eat them,” she said.
