BH CORRESPONDENT, Mumbai: Bollywood’s King Khan — Shah Rukh Khan — had already announced a series of initiaves to help the country in its fight against coronavirus pandemic. And now, Shah Rukh and his wife Gauri Khan have given their four-storey Bandra office in Mumbai to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to turn it into quarantine facility. And that’s not all. Bollywood’s Badshah has also equipped the office space with essentials for those in need who will be quarantined there. Now, we don’t call him the king of all hearts without reason.
On Saturday morning, the official Twitter handle of BMC tweeted the news and thanked both Shah Rukh and Khan for the gesture. “Stronger together. We thank Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan for offering their 4-storey personal office space to help expand our quarantine capacity equipped with essentials for quarantined children, women and elderly. Indeed a thoughtful and timely gesture! Anything for Mumbai. Na to corona!,” BMC tweeted. The tweeted was re-shared by Red Chillies Entertainment, which SRK and Gauri’s production house.

In these times it’s imp to make everyone around u working tirelessly for u.. not related to u.. perhaps even unknown to u… to feel they are not alone and by themselves. Let’s just make sure we all do our little bit to look after each other. India and all Indians are One Family. https://t.co/LWz4wQGaPe
