AGENCIES, London: British singer Sam Smith, who shot to fame and topped charts with the album In the Lonely Hour, which included the heart capturing hit song Stay With Me, recently revealed that he might have contracted coronavirus but is perfectly fine now.
In an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music, he revealed that he and his sister might have had the virus. In fact, he believes he had gotten it two weeks before the lockdown took place in Britain.
However, both of them never tested, according to aceshowbiz.com. But they self-isolated for three weeks recover completely and leave nothing to chance as they to make sure they were clear of the virus.
He said, “I know I have it, 100 per cent have it. I’m just going to assume that I did because everything I’ve read completely pointed to that. I think I definitely had it. And then as soon as I had it, my sister five days after me started getting the same symptoms who’s living with me.”
He further added, “Because I’ve got an older nan (grandmother) and stuff, so we didn’t want to risk anything.”
