BH CORRESPONDENT, Mumbai: Films shoots are being cancelled ten to the dozen amidst the coromavirus scare that has gripped the country with infected cases shooting up to 166. Joining the bandwagon are Alia Bhatt starrer Sadak 2 and Taapsee Pannu’s Haseen Dillruba.
Producer Mahesh Bhatt called off the last leg of shooting for the film in Ooty which features Aditya Roy Kapur, Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt. In a statement to Mid Day, Pooja revealed, “We had a two-day stint in Ooty, but had to cancel it because of the Coronavirus scare. [The schedule was to include] a large unit, and we didn’t want to put anyone in a vulnerable situation. So, we postponed it.”
Taapsee, on the other hand, was in the holy town of Haridwar for the Vinil Matthew directorial. Her next scheduled shoot was in Delhi but the makers cancelled it over fears about the pandemic. So, she returned to Mumbai.
“We finished the Haridwar schedule and came back to Mumbai. We are not shooting till 31st March. There was a 5-day schedule in Delhi that was to be filmed but that has been postponed until things get better. Rest, everything is done,” Taapsee told Pinkvilla.
