BH CORRESPONDENT, Mumbai: Actor Ronit Roy is excited about the release of his latest series Hostages, a special by Hotstar. Starring Tisca Chopra as well, it will be aired from Monday. It is an adaptation of an Israeli TV series by the same name.
But the question that he ponders over is will the audience reaction remain the same due to the pandemic. “I don’t know if audiences will react the same way but I do know that it’s a show easy to follow, with its twists and turns it can make for a good television viewing,” said Ronit to The Quint.
He also revealed that even though he has not been confined to his house like this for the last twenty years, he can cope with it, but it’s especially hard for his children. He said, “For me it’s easy but my children are still settling into this (lockdown). This is also a mental game.”
He further added, “It can cause stress. I am managing my children’s day schooling, workouts, procuring of essentials. We have been in a state of lockdown for 15 days before an official guideline to stay at home came from the Prime Minister. We sent our drivers and house help on a leave around 10 March and we have been in a state of lockdown since.”
