AGENCIES, Barbados: Popstar Rihanna, who is as much known for her outrageous hairdos as her singing talents, is quite concerned about her 66-year-old father Ronald Fenty who has contracted the deadly coronavirus.
Even though the two have not exactly seen eye to eye always, the singer has always helped him when he needed it the most. This time, it came in the form of a ventilator, which the singer sent to Barbados where her father is currently undergoing treatment. He spent 14 days inside the Paragon Isolation Center there, reports Daily Mail.
As for the illness, Ronald thought that he would probably die of it. “I got a fever up inside of my nose. I had a fever across my lips. It was just a lot of fever. I feared the worst. I thought I was going to die, honestly,” he said to the publication.
He also thanked his daughter for her love, support, care and affection. He said, “My daughter was checking in on me every day. She did so much for me. I appreciate everything she has done. I have to say, ‘I love you so much, Robyn’,” he said to The Sun, referring to Rihanna by her birth name.
