BH CORRESPONDENT, Mumbai: After the success of her first web show What the Folks, actress Renuka Shahane is all set to entertain her fans with a medical comedy Starting Troubles.
Based on real-life events as described in a best-selling book on medical innovations by Dr Jagdish Chaturvedi called Inventing Medical Devices released in 2016, Starting Troubles is about the transformational journey of a student doctor who turns into a medical innovator under the guidance of Dr Kavita Gowda. While the new innovations causes turbulence amongst colleagues, Dr Kavita is determined to make this invention happen and protects his future.
“Starting Troubles is a fascinating story based on real-life incidents that highlight the values of entrepreneurship and balancing work and passion,” said director Abhinav Kamal.

For Renuka, who is directing Kajol in her first Netflix film Tribhanga, working on Starting Troubles especially with Dr Jagdish made her learn a lot about the medical profession.
The six-episode web series also stars actors like Kurush Deboo, Anushka, Bharat Chawla, Jui Pawar, Aditi Rawal, Vikrant Mehata, Neha Pathak and others. The web show is streaming on healthcare infotainment platform called Hiiih.
