BH CORRESPONDENT, Mumbai: Highway actor Randeep Hooda, who has starred in quite a few unconventional roles in Bollywood, is now set to take flight in Hollywood with the action film Extraction.
Directed by the debutante Sam Hargrave, a stuntman-turned-director just like our very own Rohit Shetty, we can expect Randeep to be involved in a lot of action, high speed chases, violence, punches and the general gore that feeds the thrills of audiences in seeing blood and bullets on a stereotypical plot.
The film also stars Thor actor Chris Hemsworth in the role of the protagonist. Earlier known as Dhaka, the film has been renamed Extraction and is expected to release on Netflix on April 24.
Talking about his experience shooting for the film, Randeep said, “I get to do a lot of action in the movie. I might be the first Indian male actor to do such an action-packed role in a Hollywood film. It was a great experience working with Hemsworth, Russo brothers and the director Sam Hargrave.”
While speculations are doing the rounds that Super 30 actor Hrithik Roshan will be making a Hollywood debut after being signed by US based agency Gersh, Randeep has already crossed over to the greener pasture with Extraction.
He also has an upcoming release this Eid with the film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai featuring Salman Khan.
