Bollywood director Ram Gopal Varma made fun of US President Donald Trump on Twitter

BH CORRESPONDENT, Mumbai: US President Donald Trump’s bluff has been called! And in what a manner. Raj Gopal Varma, aka RGV, suggested that the President request SS Rajamouli, the director of Baahubali, to use his superb CGI multiplication techniques to make the crowd look like 1 crore instead of the 1 lakh that turned up during Trump’s speech at Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad.

This jibe comes after a video did the rounds on social media showing Trump’s face morphed onto Prabhas’ character Baahubali as he fights in the battlefield, courts lovers and conquers.

The @realDonaldTrump should request @ssrajamouli to use his wizard cg multiplication techniques and make the 1 lakh people in Ahmedabad look like 1 crore and give that video as a gift to Trump

— Ram Gopal Varma (@RGVzoomin) February 24, 2020

The backdrop of RGV’s jibe is however the tall claims that Trump had made that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had assured him that millions of people would turn up at the stadium although the capacity of Motera Stadium is merely 110,000.

The director of Sarkar has been criticizing Trump for quite a few days following his two day visit to India. He had earlier tweeted that the only way a crore people would come to greet Trump was if a bevy of Bollywood stars and a former porn actor was lined up beside him.

The only way @realDonaldTrump ‘s claim there will be 10 million people to welcome him in india can come true is, if they manage to line up Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan , Amir Khan, Sharuk Khan , Rajnikant, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone and SUNNY LEONE to stand next to TRUMP

— Ram Gopal Varma (@RGVzoomin) February 22, 2020

Though a film director seems to be taking pot shots at him, Trump however is courting Bollywood. Besides mentioning films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Sholay in his speech, he had previously also praised Ayushmann Khurrana’s latest film Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan.
