BH CORRESPONDENT, Mumbai: The explosive siblings Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel are in hot soup again. This time, it’s a police complaint against them. The issue started when Rangoli Chandel tweeted controversial posts about the Moradabad stone pelting incident, which was taken as being against the Muslim community.
Objections were raised by other celebrities including filmmaker Reema Kagti and Sussanne Khan’s sister, jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali. Then Kangana herself put up a video defending her sister and clarifying their stand on religious communities.
Now, a lawyer, Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh, has taken offense at that and filed the complaint at the Amboli Police Station on Wednesday.
He said in a statement, “I have filed a complaint against Kangana Ranaut as well for (remarks) in the video she has posted in support of Rangoli. In the video she has said “atankwadi ko atankwadi nahi keh sakte (can’t call a terrorist a terrorist?)?”, reports The New Indian Express.
Deshmukh filed the FIR against Kangana under IPC sections 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race ) and 295A (deliberate and malicious act intended to outrage religious feeling), among others.
