The actress urged fans to wash hands every hour to prevent COVID-19

BH CORRESPONDENT, Kolkata: At a time when India is fighting the coronavirus war, Trinamool Congress MP and Bengali actor Nusrat Jahan has also been raising awareness about COVID-19. So, when World Health Organisation launched its #SafeHandsChallenge, Nusrat also took part in it, where one to share a video on how to wash hands properly to safeguard oneself from the virus.

In the short clip, which the actress posted on her official Twitter account, Nusrat can be seen washing her hands as recommended by WHO. “The most important thing we all have to do now is to keep washing our hands nice regular interval,” said the actress in the video. She also urged the fans to stay indoors and maintain hygienic. Of course, some of her fans lauded her efforts, but then she also faced criticism. The parliamentarian, who is known for her straightforwardness, was trolled for keeping the water running while washing the hands. However, in the tweet, she did mention not to waste water.

“Let us all take precautionary measures and wash our hands every hour to prevent COVID-19. Remember to not waste water. Stay Safe – Stay Alert #SafeHands Challenge,” Nusrat tweeted.
