BH CORRESPONDENT, New Delhi: The nationwide coronavirus lockdown has been extended by two more weeks after May 4, the Modi government has said on Friday.
There will be considerable relaxations in this lockdown 3.0 with many the districts falling in the green and orange zones, the government said.
Some activities will remain prohibited despite the classification of red, orange and green zones. These include travel by air, rail, metro and inter-state movement by road. Schools, colleges, training/coaching centres, hotels, cinema halls, malls, gyms, sports complex, places of worships and other educational institutions will remain shut.
The government has given permission to operate certain activities in orange zones. However, taxis and cabs will be allowed to operate with only with one driver and one passenger per vehicle in orange zones.
