BH CORRESPONDENT, Kolkata: Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on Tuesday again wrote to Mamata Banerjee seeking information about state government’s position on the matter of bringing back Kota students.
In the letter, he said, “So far my knowledge goes, there has been no communication sent to the Chief Minister of Rajasthan in in regard to bring back stranded students.”
“I request you to kindly clarify your position on Kota students,” the letter further read.

Earlier, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury wrote an open letter to Mamata urging her to bring back the students of Bengal who are stuck in Kota, Rajasthan, amid the coronavirus lockdown. But there was no response from Mamata’s side.
On Monday, she announce on Twitter that the government has already initiated steps to ensure the return of Bengal students who are stuck in Kota, Rajasthan and they will begin their return journey soon.
I am personally overseeing this & we will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that everyone gets any possible help. The initiation has already started & all students from Bengal stuck in Kota would begin their journey back soon. (2/2)
