BH CORRESPONDENT, Kolkata: The Kolkata Police announced that from May 5 onwards they will issue e-Pass for cars within the Kolkata Police jurisdiction. They shared the information on their official Twitter handle. These passes are for those who want to avail services amid lockdown 3.0 within Kolkata apart from the the essential professionals like media, health professionals and others.
“From tomorrow (5/5/20) 7 AM onwards, you can apply for E-Pass for cars in Kolkata Police jurisdiction for the permitted activities(10 AM to 6 PM ) as per the Order of Govt of West Bengal,” Kolkata Police tweeted.

However, the e-passes will be permitted with rules and restrictions. Masks are mandatory for everyone. Meanwhile, along with the directives of the e-passes, they also shared the details of the relaxations which are allowed outside the containment zones all over the state. Such as buses are allowed to run but in districts with green zones and with 20 passengers or 50 % of seating capacity at a time. Standalone shops, hardware, electronics and other essential shops will remain open from 10 am to 6 pm. Mining activities in green, orange zones and all construction activities in rural ares will be allowed under order. Private offices can operate from 10 am to 6 pm with upto 25% strength. Barber shops and salons have been allowed in green zones only.
Here is the list of allowed essential goods under the order:
“Gathering of not more than 7 (seven) persons shall be permitted at a time in banks, post-offices, ration shops and any other shops & establishment allowed under this order,” the order further read.
