BH CORRESPONDENT, Mumbai: Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan singer Kanika Kapoor, who has been in the hospital since March 20, has tested positive for COVID-19 for the fourth consecutive time. Now, this has made her family extremely anxious as the Bollywood singer hasn’t been responding very well to the treatment. And amid the lockdown, they cannot airlift her for advanced treatment.
Doctors at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow, however, said that her condition is stable.
Kanika had returned from London to Mumbai on March 9, and then went to Kanpur and later arrived to her hometown Lucknow. There she attended parties and she had developed cough and fever during her stay.
Kanika was also criticised for throwing starry tantrums during her treatment at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences. Meanwhile, former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, 67, and her son, BJP MP Dushyant Singh, 46, who were at the party with the singer, have tested negative for coronavirus. However, they are in self-isolation for 15 days as a preventive measure.
