BH CORRESPONDENT, Mumbai: Now, this is getting serious. Baby Doll singer Kanika Kapoor’s has tested positive for coronavirus for the fifth time too. The Bollywood singer has been admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science in Lucknow since March 20 and on March 29, too, she was tested for the fourth time for the novel coronavirus.
However, director of the institute, Prof R K Dhiman said that the singer’s condition was stable and there was nothing to worry. But the singer’s family is extremely anxious given the fact that she is not responding to treatment.
Kanika had returned from London to Mumbai on March 9, and then went to Kanpur and later arrived to her hometown Lucknow. There she attended parties, where Rajasthan’s former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia and her MP son Dushyant Singh were also present. Though they tested negative for COVID-19, they are in self-isolation. Apna Dal MP Anupriya Patel and BJP MP Varun Gandhi, who were sitting near Dushyant during the parliamentary events, have also gone into self isolation.
Trinamool Congress member Derek O’Brien, who sat besides Dushyant for an event, went into self-isolation.
