AGENCIES, Los Angeles: Justin Bieber has bested Elvis Presley. Yes, however blasphemous that might sound, it indeed is true. But the issue on which he has conquered the ‘King of Rock and Roll’ is by being the youngest solo artiste to have seven No. 1 albums in US charts.
Bieber’s latest album Changes topped the chart, making him the youngest artiste to have achieved this feat at 25 years of age. Presley was 26 when his album Blue Hawaii topped the chart in 1961.
Although Justin’s albums did not garner good reviews, there is no question about the enduring popularity of the Canadian personality as album sales are off the charts, generating over a million in first week since its release.

After beating Presley’s record, Justin tweeted a simple “Grateful” and “Thank you” on Instagram.

Justin’s first chart topping album was his debut record My World 2.0 in 2010 when he was merely 16 years old. He also was five years ahead of Presley who earned his first chart topper when he was 21 years old.
