BH CORRESPONDENT, Mumbai: Actress Radhika Apte is presently in London and though she has an international web series Shantaram, it is the release of her directorial debut Sleepwalkers, which is going to keep her busy after the lockdown is over. The 30-minute short film stars Gulshan Devaiah and Shahana Goswami.
In a recent interview, Radhika, who made a hospital visit in London wearing a mask but clarified that she was accompanying a friend, said, “You do one thing at a time, all my work mentioned is done.”
Talking about her directorial debut, the Sacred Games actor said, “It isn’t as if I ‘finally’ ventured into direction, or anything. I was writing something, and felt like making it, it wasn’t a conscious decision that ‘Now I will direct’.”
Along with determination, fate is one thing that makes a difference for every successful or unsuccessful project and it all came along very well. On this, Radhika said, “Fortunately, we got the money to make it, I found good people to collaborate with. The shoot of it was a brief process.”
