AGENCIES, Los Angeles: Queen of pop Madonna who sent boys swooning and girls screaming with her dance moves, oomph and sultry voice on numbers such as Material Girl, La Isla Bonita, Hung Up and Holiday, has now sent cold waves of sweat down the backs of probably every medical professional and government official in USA.
In her 14th entry in Quarantine Diaries, which she uploads on Instagram, Madonna revealed that she would be going for a long drive in her car amidst the worldwide calls for staying indoors in isolation.
The 61-year-old artiste tested positive for COVID-19 anti-bodies, the cells which fight against the virus. So, with this newfound sense of invincibility, Madonna is going to ‘roll down the window’ of her car and ‘breathe in the COVID-19 air’. She also wishes the sun would be shining as that would be the icing on the cake for spending a beautiful summer day, even though the entire world is crumbling.
In the quaint themed video, with haunting jazz playing in the background, Madonna says, “Took a test the other day and I found out that I have the antibodies. So tomorrow I’m just going to go for a long drive in the car, and I’m gonna roll down the window and I’m gonna breathe in the COVID-19 air. Yup. I hope the sun is shining.”
