AGENCIES, Mumbai: Pune-based Bajaj Auto has plans to launch a smaller displacement variant of its Dominar sports bike. Meanwhile, the official launch of the motorcycle could take place by the end of March of early April.
Several mules on the road being tested have been spotted by eagle-eyed watchers. Style-wise the smaller Dominar has will retain most of the bigger sibling’s style quotient, however, changes to help bring prices down include modifications to the rear end suspension and placement of conventions front forks.
Meanwhile, Bajaj has released its BS VI 2020 Dominar 400 to selected dealers at a price of Rs 1,91,751 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The BS6 model is only Rs 1,749 costlier than the outgoing BS IV model. Mechanically, it remains and cosmetically, it remains unchanged.
Bookings for the new 2020 Bajaj Dominar 400 have already begun at the company’s dealerships across India. The booking amount ranges from Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000 depending on dealer.
