AGENCIES, Patna: The deadly coronavirus has affected not only the session of the Bihar legislative assembly but also the upcoming 2020 Bihar Assembly election. Many political parities have backed out of rallies and programmes due to COVID-19.
The novel coronavirus scare has also forced the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) to cancel their political programmes scheduled for the coming few days. A two-day training session of the RJD leaders and members, were scheduled to be held in Rajgir, Nalanda. However, due to COVID-19 fear, the programmes stand cancelled.
However, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has been raising public awareness about COVID-19. Veteran political leader Lalu Yadav’s sons Tej Pratap and Tejashwi spread awareness about the highly contagious coronavirus in Patna recently. Tej Pratap put on a mask on Tejashwi and even handed him a bottle of hand sanitizer.
At a time, when India is fighting a combat against this disease, which has been declared pandemic by World Health Organisation, this gesture has definitely spread awareness among the general public.
