AGENCIES, Mumbai: If there’s one film which we all have managed to watch during this quarantine period it is Contagion starring Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, Marion Cotillard, Laurence Fishburne, Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow and others. This Steven Soderbergh -2011 film was premiere at Venice International Film Festival but then, it got roaring popularity only when the coronavirus outbreak shook the entire world. As the world battles and struggles to contain the spread of the virus and India, France, Italy, Poland, and the UK are under lockdown, the stars of Contagion have issued a series of public service announcements urging people to wash their hands and practice social distancing.
According to Sky News, the actors have worked with scientists from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and they hope to dispel misinformation and fake news around the pandemic.
