BH CORRESPONDENT, Mumbai: Hrithik Roshan’s father Rakesh Roshan is miffed with films registering titles related to coronavirus. This comes after several Bollywood producers lined up in front of the Indian Film and Television Producers Council, including titles like Deadly Corona and Corona Pyaar Hai.
The latter is clearly a spin-off on the title of Hrithik’s debut film with Amisha Patel – Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai, which was produced by Rakesh. So it doesn’t come as a surprise that he has taken offence at that.
“It’s a mockery of the situation that the world is combating. It’s childish and immature to do such a thing at this time. We should ignore these people as they are not thinking straight,” said Rakesh to Mid Day, further adding, “There is no similarity between the two films. Even with regard to the names, their title Corona Pyaar Hai has a different meaning to it. So, I cannot do anything about it.”
Corona Pyaar Hai has been registered by Eros International.
