BH CORRESPONDENT, Mumbai: The rate at which the virus is spreading its tentacles, we all are anxious about coronavirus. In India, COVID-19 has taken four lives till now and the number of positive cases has crossed 180. In such a tensed atmosphere, how would you feel if we tell you about a music video which is astonishingly weird and funny.  Dhinchak Pooja, who rose to fame for the song Selfie Maine Le Li Aaj, is back with another infamous song Corona Na Hona. Yes, just when you thought you have heard enough of her nonsense lyrics and songs with Swag Wali Topi and Dilon Ka Shooter, Dhinchak Pooja haunts us with another song.

Addressing the issue that is wreaking havoc all over the world, Dhinchak Pooja uploaded the song on YouTube – Corona Na Hona. In her trademark style of total musical incompetence, she addresses all the important safety measures of washing hands, not touching the face, maintaining healthy social distances and not venturing outside the home if one feels sick.

The song goes, “Caro na caro na, kaam yeh caro na, duo yeh karna, kisi ko yeh ho na.” And then continues,  “Hoga na corona, hate tu dhona, jaldi se sona, time na dhona. Tension tum lona, babu ho ya shona, baad main na rona, Razak main lo na.”

The video starts with a disclaimer, “This video is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.”

A hip-hop downbeat, repetitive and unimaginative forms the musical foundation for her to narrate the song as calling it rap or singing is blasphemous. But in her own comic way, Pooja does the meme society a huge favour and also garners over 4 lakh views within a day.

In this song, the background dancers are seen wearing masks. However, the former Bigg Boss 7 contestant is not wearing a mask. No sooner the song was uploaded, the netizens went on a rampage. More on that later.
