BH CORRESPONDENT, Mumbai: With Mumbai coming under partial lockdown as India crossed the 250 mark for coronavirus patients, Bollywood has come out in strength to disseminate the importance of precautions amongst the general public.
Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Arjun Kapoor and Shilpa Shetty appear on a video where they talk about the problem as a whole while giving tips on how to stay safe, besides issuing certain do-s and don’t-s.
In the nearly two-minute long video, filmed by Rohit Shetty Picturez through an initiative undertaken by the Government of Maharashtra, the actors stress the urgency of self-isolation and social distancing.
The video begins with the veteran Big B requesting people to fulfill their duties as citizens. “During this difficult time, it’s very important that all of us together fulfill the responsibilities of a good citizen so that we can fight with this virus with caution and precaution rather than fear,” he says.
