BH CORRESPONDENT, Mumbai: Legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has has constantly raising awareness about the deadly coronavirus situation in the country through his social media accounts. From urging to follow the safety precautions where Big B, to recommending what books to read in this time of crisis when one is in home quarantine, the actor’s social media is a valuable source of information.
On Friday, the veteran actor, however, went down memory lane and shared a photograph where Amitabh is dressed as Superman and is seen capturing his son’s Abhishek birthday in a video camera. But more than the photograph, it’s the caption that caught the fancy of the netizens. In the caption, Big B mentioned how he wished to be a Superman in real life and take care of COVID-19. “A birthday fancy dress party for Abhishek in early years .. theme SUPERMAN .. wish I could become that in reality and take care of this CoViD,” he wrote on Instagram.
Since coronavirus started spreading in India, Amitabh has been raising awareness about the virus. In a video, the veteran actor along with other Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor and others are seen urging the people to take precautionary measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the country. He had also written a poem on coronavirus, and shared it on his official blog.
The legendary actor, who will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra and Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo, also said that he will join Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Janta Curfew’ on Sunday. And he also announced on Twitter that he would pay his respect to those people who are relentlessly working in important sectors especially health services.
