BH CORRESPONDENT, Mumbai: The first part of Ayan Mukerji’s superhero trilogy, titled Brahmastra starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt has completed shooting. Amitabh took to his personal blog to announce the news along with sharing some pictures from the shoot.
“… so they tell me its a ‘film wrap’ for me on Brahmāstra .. and as is the norm the unit applauds and everyone embraces and the good byes are done .. at times they set off some confetti guns .. its the done thing they say .. (sic),” he blogged.
Then he joked, “really .. ? sounds more like ‘thank God , good riddance’ .. good riddance of the actor .. had enough of him .. !!! (sic)”
Last week, he had shared pictures of himself and Ranbir Kapoor from the sets while praising Ranbir profusely.
Quite active on social media, Big B shared a black and white picture from over forty years back on Twitter. It was from the mahurat of the 1977 film Amar Akbar Anthony. In the picture, Amitabh is seen alongside Manmohan Desai, Parveen Babi, Shabana Azmi, Neetu Singh, Vinod Khanna and Dharmendra.

A fan, Beejal Bhatt, shared another yesteryear picture of Amitabh with poet Anand Bakshi, composer Pyarelal and singer Mohammed Rafi during the recording of the song Chal Mere Bhai from the film Naseeb.
