BH CORRESPONDENT, Kolkata: The coronavirus outbreak in India, which on Monday reported four more positive cases taking the total number of COVID-19 patients to 43, has failed to dampen the spirit of Holi celebration among the Bengali film celebrities. Of course, they didn’t use any hard colours, but celebrities be it Mimi Chakraborty, Dev, Rukmini Maitra, Raj Chakraborty, Priyanka Sarkar, Aniket Chattopadhyay, Yash Dasgupta, Paoli Dam, and others enjoyed themselves with gulal.
Mimi posted three adorable photographs with her mother, and pets – Chickoo and Max on Instagram. She also had a message for her fans on Holi. She urged the fans to use herbal colours without any chemicals. “Try and use herbal colours i hav used floral extracts with no chemicals.Be safe play safe nd spread the colour of love nd joy..,” she posted on Instagram.
Director Raj Chakraborty and wife-actress Subhashree, who is gearing up for the release of Dharmajuddha, were one of the first Tollywood celebrities to take to Instagram to wish on Holi. Srabanti posted a loving photograph with husband Roshan Singh later in the day on the photo-sharing app where the Kaveri Antardhan actress is smearing gulal on his face. “Happy holi!! @singhroshan399,” she wrote.
Sanjhbati actress Paoli Dam posted a series of photographs in a beautiful white jamdani. She was seen enjoying Holi on a roof. Sohini Sarkar posted photographs with her mother on Instagram.

Ritabhari Chakraborty, who is garnering rave reviews for her strong performance in the recently-released Bengali film Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti, was seen celebrating Holi with the students of the Ideal School for the Deaf. From clicking selfies with them to smearing gulal on their faces, Ritabhari made sure like every year, she spends considerable time with them. Later, she also posted a beautiful photograph with her mother Satarupa Sanyal.

Actor Shaheb Bhattacharjee celebrated Holi with his brother-in-law Indian football team captain Sunil Chhetri, sister Sonam, father Subrata Bhattacharjee, and mother. Later, he shared a video on Instagram.

For Hello actress Priyanka Sarkar, the day was spent at Baghajatin Tarun Sangha Club. Be it any festival, this is where Priyanka spends the time. And she had her son Sahoj for company. Meanwhile, Hobu Chandra Raja Gobu Chandra Mantri director Aniket Chattopadhayay celebrated the day with his mother. Soham Chakraborty took to social media to wish the fans on the festival of colours. He also posted photographs with his wife, where he is seen smearing gulal on his wife’s Tanaya’s cheeks.

Yash Dasgupta also celebrated Holi but with gulal. And like always, he looked handsome as ever. In a blue t-shirt, he posed on the roof with gulal smeared on his cheek.
Rituparna Sengupta, who has been busy promoting her forthcoming release Parcel, took to Twitter and urged the fans to play safe Holi. “Happy Holi everyone! Enjoy the festival of color safely! Purple heart #HappyHoli,” she tweeted along with the video message.

Golondaaz director Dhrubo Banerjee posted a photograph on Holi, which was surely the “most colourful”. A big close-up of his face smeared with gulal, he wrote just “Happy Holi” with the photograph on Instagram
