BH CORRESPONDENT, Mumbai: The multi-talented Bollywood heartthrob Ayushmann Khurrana has now penned a poem after being rendered speechless by the collective musical action during 5 pm on Sunday when India banged thaalis, bells and blew conch shells to applaud the efforts of those fighting against the deadly coronavirus.

In a video shot from his balcony, Ayushmann says he doesn’t have words to express what he was feeling at the moment. He begins the video by saying, “Ladies and gentleman, what I witnessed at 5’o clock was pretty historic. I think it was a great example of human bonding, human spirit. We are all together in this.”

आज मेरे पास कोई शब्द नहीं है, आज कोई कविता उपलब्ध नहीं है।

The poem he recites includes passages about how pollution has lessened and birds and animals are happier than before as their space is not intruded upon by humans. Then he thanks doctors and medical professionals who are saving lives before commenting that fighting this crisis doesn’t depend upon religion.

His wife Tahira Kashyap, filmmaker and author, shared pictures of both her homes in Chandigarh and Mumbai. Her post reflected the sentiment of connectivity that she felt not only with her family but with all those who came together for this exercise.

Scenes from my family in Chandigarh and Mumbai! These 5 minutes were surreal! I not only felt connected to my folks but everyone. We, thousands and millions, shared those 5 minutes of happiness together , the 5 minutes where courage and determination surged from a happy life state to dispel the darkness that is trying to shroud our lives. This connection is called Humanity. We were and are meant to be One! #weshallovercome

About Us

First the obvious question. In the crowded world of news portals, why another digital onslaught? And how will the just-launched Bulletin Hours be different from the others?

Bulletin Hours comes to you from the pedigree Kolkata-based house that publishes Mahanagar 24X7, a Bengali news portal, three years young that believes in credible and accurate reporting in a world of fake and sensational news, combined with cutting-edge editing, garnished with videos and still images that leave a lasting memory.

Bulletin Hours aims to carry forward that tradition. Led from the front by a team of professionals, we hope to carry forward the tradition of providing incisive and creative content that will impact the real world that we live in. We promise stories that rarely find any place in cyberspace and provide voice to the voiceless. We have planned campaigns that will address reader concerns and hold authorities accountable.

We may be a baby in a world of adults, but there would be nothing flippant about us. Log on to bulletinhours.com from your desktop/laptop/iPad or just follow the news as it breaks on your mobile to get a taste of what we are all about.
