BH CORRESPONDENT, Mumbai: One is advised to stay at home during the lockdown period as it the best way to flatten the curve and stop the spread of coronavirus, but what if someone contracts the virus in the vicinity of one’s house?
This dreadful question stares in the faces of Bollywood actors Vicky Kaushal and Rajkummar Rao after a child in their apartment complex tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
The housing complex in Mumbai’s Andheri area, Oberoi Springs, has been partially sealed thereafter. Besides the two, other celebrities who reside there are Patralekhaa and Chitrangada Singh.
The infected child is 11 years old and the daughter of a director who resides in the C-wing of the complex. The BMC thereafter sealed that wing and partially sealed A and B wings besides sanitizing the entire complex, reports Times of India.
Naturally, the people living there have been advised to take complete precautions and follow every directive in regard to quarantining, maintaining social distancing and self-isolation.
This isn’t the first case of an actor’s building or complex being sealed in Mumbai which is quite severely hit by the crisis. Television star Ankita Lokhande’s building was also sealed after confirmed positive coronavirus cases emerged in the area.
