BH CORRESPONDENT, Mumbai: Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. actor Sanjay Dutt has now joined the list of celebrities who are actively helping the needy and underprivileged in this time of crisis. He has pledged to feed a thousand families in Mumbai as the lower classes are facing extreme difficulties in procuring food due to lack of resources and money.
“This is a time of grave crisis for the entire country. Everybody is helping each other in any way they can, even if it means by just staying home and practising social distancing. I am just trying to do my bit to help out as many people as I can,” said Sanjay to a news agency.
This initiative would not have been possible without Sawakar Shelters. “Sawarkar Shelters has been a great backbone to execute this plan. They have done much hard work and I thank them for it. I hope that by helping each other, we get through this difficult phase of our lives soon,” he said.
Besides this, Sanjay has been urging citizens to stay fit as it is imperative to not fall sick during such times. Taking to Instagram, he posted a video of him exercising. He captioned it, “Staying fit is very important especially during this time. So eat well, stay healthy & keep exercising.”
