AGENCIES, Los Angeles: Fight Club actor Brad Pitt recently made a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live, which is now being broadcast as SNL At Home. In the cameo, Brad is seen wearing a suit and tie and donning a white wig. He portrayed Dr. Anthony Facui, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
Brad opened his cameo by saying, “Good evening. I’m Dr. Anthony Fauci. First, I’d like to thank all the older women in America who have sent me supportive, inspiring, and sometimes graphic emails.”
Later he took a dig at US President Donald Trump for his rather alarming views on how to combat the coronavirus pandemic, including ingesting or injecting bleach into COVID-19 patients. The President’s assurances of vaccines for the virus coming were also mocked, reports Buzz Feed News.
“Relatively soon is an interesting phase. Relative to the entire history of Earth? Sure. The vaccine’s gonna come real fast,” Pitt said.
At the very end, Brad removed the wig and became his own charming self and signed off by saying, “And to the real Dr. Fauci, thank you for your calm and your clarity in this unnerving time. Thank you to the medical workers, first responders, and their families, for being on the front line.”
